New Years Revolution…

Haaeenyeartyepal! All the best for 2012. Here’s an update on what I’ll be doing over the next few weeks…

Gigs // The first gig is on Monday 16th January with Lady North at King Tut’s, Glasgow. We’ll be supporting Glasgow-based noisemakers United Fruit as part of King Tut’s ‘New Years Revolution‘, a month of gigs showcasing the best of unsigned Scottish talent. Tickets are £4 each from ladynorth@live.co.uk.

Next, Dead Boy Robotics are to headline Limbo at the Voodoo rooms on Friday 20th with support from Homework and the Lotus Project. Tickets are £4 and can be purchased here.

On Friday 27th I will be travelling back up to Inverness to play with Dead Boy Robotics and Lady North at Mad Hatters, hosted by Netsounds Unsigned. This will be a true test of my stamina – two sets in one night… boke!

Finally, Lady North will be playing at Cabaret Voltaire on Thursday 2nd February as part of club night Sick Note. Entry is £2 / £1 students on the door.

Other News // Graham Coxon has announced a competition for bands to submit their music to be in with a chance with supporting him on his forthcoming UK tour. Dead Boy Robotics have submitted a video to support him at the Liquid Rooms on the 16th April. You can find all the details and vote for us here, if you select the Liquid Rooms date from the drop down menu and ‘like’ our video, it would be greatly appreciated.

The List wrote a nice little feature on Dead Boy Robotics and the debut album here.

Lady North made Vic Galloway‘s ‘35 artists to watch in 2012‘ list which we’re extremely delighted about. With writing for our debut album well underway, 2012 looks to be an exciting year in the wonderful world of Lady North. More info to follow soon… Lady North also made it onto Glasgow PodcART’s 2012 list too (yass!). Big thank you to Halina & Team PodcART, we won’t let you down.

Hope all is well!
